Northeast Historic Film Presents Amateur Fiction Films
Northeast Historic Film (NHF) is an archive, a theater, and study center located in Bucksport, Maine. The purpose of NHF is to collect, preserve, and make available to the public, film and videotape related to the northern New England region. This month NHF hosts their sixth annual Summer Symposium, Amateur Fiction Films (July 21-23, 2005), an exploration of fiction films made by amateur filmmakers. Also located in Bucksport is NHF's new Conservation Center. This three-story vault contains three temperature-and humidity-controlled floors, a conditioning room, collections processing space, and a technical services area.
