CinemaEast Series Call for Submissions

CinemaEast showcases an engaging selection of feature films, shorts and documentaries approaching social, cultural and political themes from the Middle East and their diaspora. Films are selected on the basis of (1) cinematic quality, (2) the film's contribution to a diverse festival in terms of countries, issues and ideologies, (3) cinematic styles and genres that are region specific. The program features both new and older films, emphasizing on work that receives little visibility in the United States.

We invite your submissions for the coming seasons of CinemaEast in any genre and format. Both new and older titles will be considered.

Submission deadline is June 15 for the fall season and October 15 for the spring season.
No Entry Fee!

Please complete our entry form and mail it along with your VHS or DVD (NTSC or PAL) screener and any press materials to:
