Join New York Department of Peace Campaign for: Waging Peace! A One-Day Training on the Department of Peace and the Meaning of Active Citizenship.

Be sure to include: your name, address and zip code, number of people attending, name of your Congress Person, your district number (find out at:www.congress.org). Bring a brown bag lunch.

Suggested donation: $20 per person payable at the door (no one will be turned away.)

This 1-day training and fundraiser will teach you about the Department of Peace Campaign, restore your hope and faith in our democratic system, and inspire you to action.  Enjoy inspirational speakers and music, make personal connections and discover heroic opportunities for activism.

You will learn how to:
- Communicate your commitment to peace to your Congressional Representatives.
- Work within our democratic process to help pass this historic legislation.
- Reach out to our communities to create awareness and gain support of the Bill.

Who should attend? Any who wants to learn:
- More about the Bill and what is currently being done.
- How they can help create awareness and get the Bill passed.

Doors open at 12 noon. Registration and meditation ongoing until the program begins at 1pm.
