Free Speech TV Seeks Video Submissons

Free Speech TV is the nations first progressive television channel, broadcasting on DISH Network channel 9415 and many cable access stations all across the nation. Currently, Free Speech TV is in preproduction for the second season of our original 'zine style news magazine, SourceCode. One segment of SourceCode is designed to give access to all sorts of filmmakers, journalists, and other media artists. For this segment we are seeking any and all entries of political shorts, short films, animations, music video, poetry, etc. If a submission is selected the producer will receive $50 as well as a chance to be seen by millions on national television and online at the SourceCode website. This is a great opportunity for emerging media-makers to speaker their minds and get seen across the nation, we highly encourage all entries and are really excited to see what people are creating out there.

This season our topics include:
- Labor/Trade with a focus on the global enconomy, worker status (domestic and international), income gaps and job migrations.
-Anti-War (critique of constant war and the cost of war).
-The War on Truth/Protest invisibility, including control of media and higher education. Who does and does not get to speak?
-Suspension of civil liberties and human rights; how do we define 'human?' (Corporate atrocity and surveillance).
-Privatization of water and its affects, as well as the privatization of other resources.
-Shifting US demographics; immigration, jobs,
-Sexual Politics; sex workers, sex trade, abortion, gay rights
-Justice; for who? cultural portrayl of justice.
-Proxy war
-Voting and voter reform

All submissions should be of broadcast quality and sent on DV or miniDV
