Native American Public Telecommunications (NAPT) Open Call for Proposals
In this round, NAPT welcomes projects intended for national public television broadcast in production, post-production, and completion stages. Average awards will range from $50,000-$100,000. Many genres, including documentary, performance, and cultural/public affairs. Project priorities include the quantity and quality of Native American participation in creative, technical, and advisory roles, as well as the power of the finished program to illuminate the Native American experience. Independent and public television producers and film and video makers are eligible to apply. No commercial, industrial, promotional, or student films; no projects in the research, development, or scripting stage, or projects intended solely for theatrical release. One proposal per applicant. All grantees must have the fiscal sponsorship of a non-profit 50l (c )( 3) organization.
