Open Meadows Foundation Funding for Women
Open Meadows Foundation funds projects designed and implemented by women and girls. Offers grants of up to $2,000 to projects that: promote the empowerment and well-being of women and girls; reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of our society; promote social change; have limited financial access to or have encountered obstacles in their search for funding. No fellowships or scholarships. First-time applicants have highest priority.
Note: Film and video projects will only be considered for post-production funding. Six special funds are targeted to specific groups and/or for specific activities: the Jeanne Meurer Indigenous Women's Fund, the Ellen Dougherty Activist Fund (for young women 19 and under), the Edie Windsor Fund for Old Lesbians, the India Fund, The PatsyLu Music Fund (considering music projects from women who are composers, music educators, musicologists, performers, or in performing groups), and the Susan F. Eastman Fund (for environmental activism).
