Outreach Assistant - Internship
Intern at Documentary Film Company, working on outreach for THE EDUCATION OF SHELBY KNOX, Sundance 2005, Best Cinematography, SXSW Audience Award.
InCite Pitures/Cine Qua Non is a small documentary film company producing high profile social issue documentaries and features. Two of their programs premiered on the PBS series Point of View. The latest, The Education of Shelby Knox, is at the center of a national education and outreach campaign.

The position can be for college credit and includes transportation costs. Time commitment: 3- 4 days/week. Minimum 5 hrs. per day. Three months.
1) Outreach Assistant: Learn all about documentary distribution as part of a national outreach education campaign; help plan and coordinate events across the country to use the film for public education, awareness raising and mobilizing social change groups. Also includes learning about fundraising for documentary/activist media and networking.
