Academy Award nominated and Emmy winning documentary filmmaker, William Gazecki, will attend a screening of his award-winning doc, Reckless Indifference as part of the Eureka! International Film Festival. William will conduct a Q&A after the film. Reckless Indifference will screen at 12:00 pm on October 30 at Anthology Film Archives, 32 2nd Avenue (at 2nd Street) NY, NY.
Reckless Indifferenceis a compelling story of obfuscation, betrayal, and preferential justice. In 1995, a backyard brawl in Agoura, California, resulted in the death of the teenaged son of a Los Angeles Police Department detective. The ensuing trial sent four teenage boys to prison for life without parole -- but only one of the four boys wielded a pocket knife, and willingly confessed to his crime.
