Third World Newsreel Series at BAM

Third World Newsreel (TWN) and BAMcinematek, the repertory film program at BAM Rose Cinemas, are proud to present a weekend of social issue and activist documentaries, curated by Michelle Materre. In operation since 1967, Third World Newsreel has provided an alternative media outlet for developing artists and audiences of color. This program brings together some of the best films from the Newsreel history with new shorts from the recent Call for Change project.
