Oct. 25 - Bay Area emerging arts leaders creative conversation!
The National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture and Film Arts Foundation, in partnership with The Americans for the Arts Emerging Leader Council, are inviting you to participate in a creative conversation with other emerging arts leaders who want to make a dynamic difference in their lives and communities.
Where: 9th Street Independent Film Center, 145 Ninth Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-2636
When: Tuesday, October 25, 2005, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
(Feel free to bring a bag lunch)
Who: Arts Leaders who either by age or experience are at the beginning of their careers in the field of art. Emerging Arts Leaders can be loosely defined as either being under 35 or having less than seven years of experience in the field.
Why: Why Not? THIS is your chance to network and dialogue with other emerging arts leaders in your area. Discuss challenges specific to your age group and experience in the field, share opportunities and resources, and brainstorm about how to connect with the greater community of young leaders in your region. Your discussions and ideas will also help fuel Americans for the Arts programmatic planning for 2006, including an emerging leader session, peer group meetings, and other the emerging leader activities taking place at the Americans for the Arts 2006 Annual Convention.
