Known to its legions of fans simply as P-Funk, Parliament Funkadelic has had a profound impact on the development of contemporary music, aesthetics and culture. This film chronicles how George Clinton, mastermind behind the band, expresses the cultural alienation of Young African Americans. They created an alternate universe of "aliens" that brought the redemtive power of funk to a world sorely in need of a new point of view.
