Escape Cinema Cafe - Film Submissions

Starting January 2006, Nokturnal Escape Entertainment will present Escape Cinema Café, a monthly independent film series showcasing films by African American filmmakers based in Jacksonville, FL. Screenings will be held every second Friday at Boomtown Underground in downtown Jacksonville. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit films on all subjects including works on family, love, relationships, spirituality and the church, self-determination and identity, and the affects of post-slavery on our communities. No submissions fees. Filmmakers of selected films will receive a percentage of admission fees.

VHS and DVD formats are eligible. Also include: 1) Full Film/Video Synopsis 2) A 50-word description of the film or video (for promotional purposes) 3) Director(s) biography (and photograph if you like) 4) Full cast list and a complete and accurate list of credits 5) Stills from the film (high resolution electronic files are acceptable) 6) Press kit and/or electronic press kit
