Free Press co-founders McChesney & Nichols in NY!!

Free Press co-founders Robert W. McChesney and John Nichols will be speaking Monday, December 5 in New York City about how the American media sell wars, spin elections, endanger democracy — and how to fight back.

The event is free and open to the public:

When: Monday, December 5, 8 p.m.
Theresa Lang Center, The New School
55 West 13th Street, 2nd Floor (Between 5th & 6th Ave.)
New York

McChesney and Nichols will be discussing their new book,
Tragedy & Farce, which argues the ongoing media crisis isn't due to incompetent journalists but corrupt policymaking that has
allowed our system to become the private domain of massive media conglomerates. They'll also talk about where the growing media reform movement is headed next.

Mark your calendars and be sure to forward this message to all of your friends so they don't miss this special event.
