Making Your Documentary Matter: Workshop in DC
On January 30th, the Center for Social Media is hosting a day-long symposium on Making Your Documentary Matter: Public Engagement Strategies that Work. Join filmmakers, outreach specialists and foundation representatives for a series of panel discussions on the latest in documentary outreach, including keynote speaker Cynthia Lopez from P.O.V./American Documentary, Inc. and filmmaker Sandi Dubowksi. Arts Engine's Shira Golding will be sitting on the panel, "Designing for Action: Innovative and Successful Distribution Partnerships" taking place at 1pm. Registration is required and space is limited!
