Seattle LGFF - Call for Entries
2006 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
CALL FOR ENTRIES
Three Dollar Bill Cinema is proud to announce the 2006 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, to be held October 13-22, 2006.
We are now accepting narrative, documentary, experimental, and animated films and videos of any length that are by, about, or of interest to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and/or transgendered people. We screen 35mm and 16mm film, as well as BETA (NTSC), DVD (NTSC) and 1/2" VHS (NTSC).
In 2005, our festival screened more than 170 films from around the world to an audience of 10,000. This year, we will bring more outstanding queer cinema to our Pacific Northwest audience.
DEADLINE
Entries must be postmarked by:
May 31, 2006 (early deadline, $10)
June 30, 2006 (final deadline, $20)
All Entries MUST include an entry form, fee and VHS preview tape (NTSC or PAL accepted). Forms can be printed from our web site: http://www.seattlequeerfilm.com

AWARDS
The competition jury, comprised of individuals from the Seattle film community, will select films to receive cash awards. Three Dollar Bill Cinema Awards for Excellence will be presented in the following categories:
Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Film, Best New Director, Best Local Film, Best Short Film, and Most Innovative Short Film.
In addition to the juried awards, audience choice awards will be given for Favorite Narrative Feature, Favorite Documentary Feature, Favorite Boys' Short Film, Favorite Girls' Short Film, and Favorite Local Film.
