Refugee Film Festival in Asia is looking for films.
The next event is planned for June 2006 in Cambodia and at the same time in Tokyo, Japan.
Refugee Film Festival, RFF (June 20-26, 2005) is a non-commercial project that was organized by UNHCR/Cambodia together with French Cultural Center, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Around 2000 people attended the festival in 2005 in Phnom Penh alone. The festival was repeated in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
More than 20 films about and by refugees from Cambodia, Iran, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Mozambique, Tibet and Bosnia were shown at the Festival. Both feature, documentaries and 7 animated films about migration took part in the festival.
