IFP Market Call For Entries

IFP MARKET (Sept. 17-21), New York City
Seeking financing or a producer for your script? Completion funds or distribution for your documentary? The IFP Market is a great place to begin: the only selective forum in the US to introduce new work to an industry-only audience of sales companies, fest programmers, distributors, broadcasters,
producers and agents from the US and abroad. An essential networking opportunity, IFP Market connects you with the industry reps you need to know to get your work financed, completed and distributed.

Sections include Spotlight on Documentaries (features -50 mins or longer, works-in-progress and shorts-less than 40 mins); Emerging Narrative (screenplays- 90-120 pages in length and a select number of short films- less than 40 mins); No Borders International Co-production Market (new fiction projects with some financing in place by producers with track
records). Completed works must have been produced after June '05. Awards include the "Screenplay Award," given to best feature-length screenplay
($5,000 cash) and Doc Completion award, presented to a work-in-progress ($50,000 in goods and services).

Deadlines:

May 1 - Emerging Narrative screenplays (Final); Spotlight on Documentaries features, works-in-progress, shorts and Emerging Narrative shorts (Early)
May 15 - No Borders domestic projects and Emerging Narrative shorts (Final)
May 26 - Spotlight on Documentaries - features, works-in-progress, shorts
(Final)

Entry fee: early, $40; final, $50. Registration fee paid on acceptance:
$225-$450 (depending on section).
