The 24 Hour Film Festival
In its inaugural year, the 24 Hour Film Festival will celebrate the art of indie filmmaking with 24 straight hours of independently produced film and video in all genres: animation, documentary, experimental, narrative, etc., including short and feature length. Youth and student work is welcome.

Dates
July 7-8, 2006

Mission
The 24 Hour Film Festival will be housed at the historic Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV) firehouse in the heart of downtown NYC. In the spirit that truth exists within 24 frames, we bring you 24 CONTINUOUS HOURS of films from various genres celebrating and embracing different viewpoints, communities, ethnicities, and nationalities from youth and adult media-makers nationwide. Come celebrate the truly independent by submitting your films and telling us your stories!

Deadlines
Early: March 17th, 2006
Late: April 14th, 2006
