Media That Matters Film Festival Launch: Call for Volunteers
While the fifth annual Media That Matters Film Festival has been in full swing, the staff of Arts Engine has been hard at work gearing up for the launch of the sixth annual festival. This year is going to be even bigger and better with two jam-packed days of events in New York City May 31-June 1 including the World Premiere at the IFC Center, the Media in Action Workshop at the International Center for Tolerance Education in Brooklyn, and the celebrity-hosted Awards Ceremony at HBO headquarters overlooking Bryant Park, plus after-parties!
Want to get inside the Media That Matters Film Festival? We are seeking volunteers for the weeks of May 22nd and May 29th. We are looking for support in event production, press outreach, and community/web outreach.
Volunteers will get to attend invitation-only festival launch events, meet filmmakers, funders and celebrities, and get to know Arts Engine staff. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to be considered for a summer internship at Arts Engine offices.
If you are interested, please contact Samantha Feltus, sam@artsengine.net, 646-230-6288. If possible, please email a resume and cover letter. No prior experience is necessary, individuals of all ages are welcome to apply.
