Exodus Short Film Programme
As part of the Exodus Refugee Arts Festival June 2006, UK

The Exodus Festival is a unique celebration of arts and culture, brought to you by Greater Manchester’s diverse refugee communities. For the second year running we will screen a programme of short films inspired and/or made by refugees and people seeking asylum.

Screening of the selected programme will take place at the Cornerhouse Cinema in Manchester during refugee week 19th – 25th June 2006.

What are we looking for?
Short films that give a fresh and diverse perspective on the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum. We want to screen films made by community groups and individual filmmakers from the UK and beyond.

Films must be…
Short films: documentary or fiction in any genre (e.g. drama, comedy etc)
Duration: under 15 minutes
Screening formats: miniDV, DVD (PAL format) – DVD preferred

How do I submit my film(s)?
Submissions are free. Please complete the submissions form which is available from www.can.uk.com/exodus or by emailing exodus.shorts@btinternet.com.

Multiple submissions are allowed but each film must have a completed submission form. Films should clearly labelled and 2 DVD copies sent along with the completed submission form within the deadline of May 8th 2006, to:
