Donate to the Fund for Women Artists!

Imagine a world full of art that looks directly and deeply at
women's lives - a world where you could go to a movie, turn on
your TV, or attend a play and know that you would see strong
female characters grappling with real situations. The Fund for
Women Artists is leading a campaign to create that world, and we invite you to join us.

Our goal for this year is to raise $100,000 for our new Push
the Envelope Awards, and we have already raised $30,000. We are going to use this money to make substantial cash awards to women writers and directors in film and theatre who are "Pushing the Envelope" by creating exceptional films and plays that feature diverse and complex female characters.

This first year is just the beginning - our long term goal is to
build an organization capable of raising and distributing a
million dollars a year to women artists. With your support, we
