Celebrate Real Rebellion July 4th Weekend at BAM
Afro-Punk Weekend
June 30- July 4
This Fourth of July, forget the fireworks and celebrate true independence with the second-annual Afro-Punk Weekend.
For five days we’ve got films about real rebellion, as well as a special tribute to punk pioneer Don Letts.
For more info about the series and city-wide music events, visit BAM.org (see below). The series includes films about Black Panthers, Black punks, Black and Latino drag queens, and much more!
