Center for Digital Storytelling Workshops
Public Basic Workshops 2006-2007
The goal of the workshop is to design and produce a 3-5 minute digital story. Students craft and record first-person narratives, collect still images and music with which to illustrate their pieces, and are guided through computer tutorials which enable them, with teacher support, to edit their own stories.
Workshops are usually held as all day, contiguous day intensives (typically 3-4 days), involving 8-15 participants. Participants are given materials prior to the workshop to assist them in preparation, including suggestions about script writing, image selection, and use of video clips.
Dates and locations for our Basic Workshop are updated on the website below on a regular basis. Please email for pricing and further information. Note: Workshop dates are subject to change. Please confirm registration prior to making airplane reservations.
