Editing 101: AVID Workshop
Editing a film is a tedious process, but it doesn’t have to be difficult. This 4-part workshop goes hands-on to de-mystify the post-production process, and will give you skills and knowledge that no textbook ever could. The class meets 1-night a week for 4 weeks, and includes 2-hours of “Lab Time” each week for you to work independently on an Avid system. Learn Editing Theory, logging, capturing, cutting, transitions, and outputting, and find out how simple editing has become. Great for people looking for a new hobby, or looking to start a career as a professional Avid Editor!
Wednesdays: July 2, July 9, July 16, & July 23, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Plus a total of 8 hours of supervised lab time on Fridays!
