Vote in the GlobalGiving Open!

Which projects would you like to see on GlobalGiving?

The GlobalGiving Open is a chance for you to vote on the next projects to get $10,000 in funding AND a spot on GlobalGiving’s website. It’s easy, fun, and you can make a difference!
GlobalGiving.com is an eBay-like marketplace for international philanthropy. We connect individual donors with international development projects.

The Open allows project leaders who are not affiliated with a sponsoring organization to compete for a spot on the GlobalGiving website and prize money. This is important because although we've helped many project leaders all over the world, there are many more great ones out there who don't have access to a project sponsor. We’ve invited hundreds of new organizations to participate in the Open, and after a rigorous process, we have determined that 35 organizations meet the eligibility requirements. Now, it is your turn to tell us which finalists should join the GlobalGiving community!

HERE’S HOW:
1) Go to the GlobalGiving Open web page and create a user id and password (if you don’t already have one). You have to log-in to vote and can only vote once.
2) Spend your virtual Bucks ($100 for each of 7 pages) on your favorite projects.

Voting ends July 20th!

PRIZES:
• $10,000 in cold, hard cash and GlobalGiving fame:  GlobalGiving will tabulate the Bucks to see which three projects received the most from the whole community. The top three Buck-getters will get a spot on globalgiving.com and $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 respectively in real money!
• Ipod Nano and T-shirts: The voter who gave the most Bucks to the actual winning   projects wins an Ipod Nano.  Everyone who votes will also be entered into a drawing, and 10 voters will win our fabulous new GlobalGiving t-shirts!
We need your help to realize the GlobalGiving vision of funding the best grassroots projects all over the world.  Vote, and ask your friends and family to participate too!
