Let your voice be heard! Tell us your stories about detentions and deportations
We are doing- bi-monthly podcast interviews for our "Value Families" campaign which focuses on people whose families have been destroyed and separated by detention and/or deportation after the harsh 1996 immigration laws.
Breakthrough is looking for stories from both legal and illegal immigrants whose families and friends have been torn apart by lack of due process, double jeopardy, or people that have been affected by the increasing number of grounds for deportation such as simple misdemeanors. Also, if you are an expert on the subject, i.e., professor, filmmaker, author, nonprofit organization, or activist, we would love to hear about your work on the issue.
