Changing Gear Film: Raising Awareness about Breast Cancer
Drama, humor, concern, and conflict are guaranteed when a group of 22 middle-aged women (total strangers) get on their bicycles and set off on a grueling 3,135 mile journey across the USA.
How will these women cope with the relentless demands of physical toil and living closely with people so different from themselves?
Changing Gear is a feature length documentary that follows the women (ages 45-72) during this marathon cycling trip. Despite enormous support and goodwill from many people along the route, the epic journey represents a formidable challenge to each rider. As the individual stories unfold, it becomes clear that each woman is on her own profound personal odyssey.
