9th United Nations Association Film Festival

The Stanford Film Society and the UNA Midpeninsula Chapter announce the ninth annual United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF).

The festival will be held at Stanford University with pre-screenings in San Francisco on October 18 & 22 and in East Palo Alto on October 20. This year's theme is “SPARKS OF HUMANITY”. UNAFF celebrates the power of films and videos dealing with local and global issues: human rights, environmental survival, women's issues, protection of refugees, homelessness, racism, famine, disease control, universal education, war and peace.

Thirty one films will be presented at this year's festival from over thirty countries.
