Hip-Hop Theater Festival Call for Submissions
The vision of the Hip-Hop Theater Festival is to tell the untold stories of the Hip-Hop generation. We want to see how Hip-Hop has shaped your attitudes, politics, relationships, family life, eating habits and art.
We want to see how the Patriot Act, Darfur and globalization has globally warmed your dance moves and witness it on stage. We want to hear your Spoken Word, peep your tag, check out your scratching skills and watch you turn it into one hundred percent theater.
We are seeking your ensemble plays, solo works, dance-theater and inter-disciplinary theater works for consideration for our festivals in:
Chicago (May 1 - May 5, 2007)
The San Francisco Bay Area (May 10 - May 20)
New York (June 5 - June 10)
Washington D.C. (July 9 - July 14).
