Free NYC Queer Youth Video Workshop
MIX NYC and NYC Parks and Recreation’s REC Youth are partnering together to offer their 2nd annual video training program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, & questioning (LGBTQ) youth entitled A Different Take for summer 2007.
When: A Different Take meets from July 9 through August 17, 2007.
Where: Chelsea Parks, Recreational Center and Le Petite Versailles Community Gardens.

This is an intensive 6-week workshop where youth are taught the technical and creative aspects of videomaking and invited to make 5-minute self-portrait videos. This program is free and includes access to video equipment, computers, tapes, membership to NYC Parks & Recreational Center, Metrocards & lunch.
