Media That Matters Good Food Screening - Community Garden BK, NY
Summer Film Festival @ the Hattie Carthan Community Garden: For the second year freeDimensional and the Center for International Art in Community (CIAC) will work with the garden to provide relevant entertainment and information as a part of the garden's annual international food festival on Saturday, August 18th.
Each summer the Hattie Carthan Community Garden conducts a series of informational workshops and entertainment events to let community members know more about opportunities at the garden and to create a social space in nature for the community. The international food festival is both a community outreach event as well as one of the garden's tools for generating income.
We will be screening the Media That Matters Film Festival's Good Food collection of shorts on food and sustainability.
