Reel New York Film Festival
The Reel New York Film Festival presents 29 independent films and videos by New Yorkers and about New Yorkers, beginning July 5th until August 30th.
The eight-week festival airs on Thirteen every Thursday at 10 p.m. beginning July 5. (Repeat Tuesdays morning at 4am)

Ferry Tales the Academy Award-nominated documentary offers an intimate look inside the secret world of the ferry clique.

Curtis tell a story of an African American artist living with AIDS who, with great humor and humanity, relates how AIDS affected his life physically and spiritually.

Native New Yorker the silent film follows Terry Coyote Murphy on a journey through the city to trace the influences of Native American culture on the isle of Manhattan.

This docudrama The Bicycle Gangs of New York chronicles the philosophies and activities of the notorious bicycle gangs of New York.

August 2 at 10 pm:
Death of Two Sons tell a story about an African immigrant and an American peace crop volunteer, and through their story raise painful and difficult questions about race and global disparities of justice.
