Art21 Access ’07: Celebrate Contemporary Art and Creativity
Art21 and Americans for the Arts present Art21 Access '07, an international program of film screenings and contemporary art events kicking off Arts and Humanities Month in October 2007.
Sneak previews of the fourth season of Art21’s acclaimed public television series Art in the Twenty-First Century () will be hosted by over 200 museums, schools, libraries, art spaces, and community organizations around the world.
Access the creative processes, inspirations, and ideas behind some of today’s most thought-provoking art and artists.
Art in the Twenty-First Century is the first national public television series to focus exclusively on contemporary visual art and artists in the United States, and it uses the medium of television to provide an in-depth experience that moves far beyond the traditional gallery visit.
In the past, Art21 events have taken place at hundreds of institutions around the world, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA (NY), the Guggenheim Museum (NY), MOCA (LA), San Francisco MoMA, the Institute of Contemporary Art - Boston, Deutsche Guggenheim (Berlin), BALTIC Center for Contemporary Art (Gateshead, UK), the Glasgow Museum of Art (UK), and the Mori Art Museum (Tokyo).
