Why Democracy?
Why Democracy? is a documentary project using film to start a global conversation about democracy.
Democracy is arguably the buzzword of this era, invoked in many different places by many different people - but what does it mean? Can we define it, measure it, protect it? Can it be bought, sold, exchanged? Can it grow? Can it die? What does it mean to people who are not even permitted to utter the word? What does it mean to people who don't believe in it? What does democracy mean to you?
The Why Democracy? project will launch on October 8th 2007 and run until October 18th 2007.
Afterwards it wil put forth its efforts in outreach and distributon.
