October 23, 2007: "AND I DO SURVIVE" Benefit Screening

Please join us on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 for a work-in-progress screening of "And I Do Survive", a feature documentary that explores the quintessential American Dream from a rare perspective – that of an HIV+ Trinidadian lesbian. The film documents Michelle Lopez and her struggles with love, family, and activism to reform the laws to permit HIV+ immigrants to gain legal residence in the US. The event is sponsored by the Lesbian and Gay Law Association of Greater New York and the New York Gay and Lesbian Physicians & Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists of New York. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a great film and network with like-minded professionals.
