Call for Entries: $1000 Video Contest on Community Values & Immigration, Washington, D.C.

The Movement Vision Lab, a special project of the Center for Community Change, is launching a $1000 video contest!

The Center for Community Change is the nation's leading organization working with community groups and leaders across the country to mobilize for progressive change. The Movement Vision Lab (http://www.movementvisionlab.org) is a groundbreaking new space for these groups and leaders to share and discuss progressive, visionary ideas for the future.

For the contest, contestants are asked to create a short, 3 minute video that reflects community values in immigration.

Here's the idea behind the contest—we know that, as a country and as a world, we're all in it together and we're more than the sum of our parts. That goes for both sides of the border. So what would it mean to value everyone equally, no matter where they come from and how they got here? How would you tell America that immigration is about Community Values?

With the upcoming election right around the corner, we want to tell a compelling story to the American people—a story that supports fair and humane immigration reform that is based on community values. Help us tell that story!!
