More Information:

Open to first time feature directors in the later stage of narrative and documentary post-production, the Labs identify high quality, independent features that can benefit from the support and expertise of experienced film professionals. Led by seasoned independent producers Scott Macaulay, (Producer, Raising Victor Vargas and editor, Filmmaker Magazine) and Gretchen McGowan, (Producer and former Executive in Charge of Production, HDNet Films (The Architect, Coffee and Cigarettes, Series 7: The Contenders) and Arts Engine (Election Day, Arctic Son), the Labs help independent filmmakers achieve the full potential of their material prior by providing four days of feedback and advice on specific technical, creative and post-production issues such as editing, music selection and scoring, festival and press strategy, sales, marketing and distribution.
