Call for Entries: Northampton Community Film Festival, Northampton, UK

Do you make films?

Do you want your film to be shown at a major International Film Festival, based in the United Kingdom?

The 2008 festival maintains the "local into global" idea and is based around eight key concepts:

• global citizenship
• conflict resolution
• diversity
• human rights
• interdependence
• social justice
• sustainable development
• values and perceptions

We are delighted to be able to offer a prize fund of £2000/ $4000 for the best films submitted. It is important that directors and projects are rewarded for excellence and to enable them to continue their work.

The 2006 Festival benefitted from strong and positive media coverage in newspapers and magazines, as well as BBC Radio and BBC TV. We hope to increase our publicity this year.

*** Please note that our main resource is volunteer time; our income received is being
channeled into our prize fund ***
