Jun. 6 - 8: National Conference for Media Reform, Minneapolis, MN
The National Conference for Media Reform is about turning our frustration into positive change. The event is filled with rousing speeches, musical performances, new films and dozens of interactive panels and hands-on workshops. Topics will include media ownership, Internet freedom, the future of independent media, media diversity, grassroots organizing, hip-hop activism and much, much more. Here's who's already coming: Dan Rather, Arianna Huffington, Juan Gonzalez, Bill Moyers, Naomi Klein, Lawrence Lessig, FCC Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein, and many more.
