June 5: NewFest 2008: New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival
NewFest 2008: The 20th Anniversary New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival opens on Thursday, June 5th with the NYC Premiere of Tru Loved, director Stewart Wade's charming and funny high school comedy. The festival closes on Sunday, June 15th with the NYC Premiere of Were the World Mine by Tom Gustafson, a breathtaking and sexy Shakespearean musical fantasy.
In between these exceptional films are nearly 250 others, representing 35 countries in over one hundred programs! Tickets are already on sale for 2008 NewFest Members while general public tickets won't be available until Tuesday, May 27th. Not a Member yet, or you haven't renewed for 2008?
