IFP in search of Industry Meetings Coordinator

The IFP's Independent Film Week 'Spotlight on Documentaries' is program in search of Industry Meetings Coordinator to create and manage documentary industry pitch meetings.

This is a great opportunity to learn a lot about the documentary industry, build professional relationships, and to be a part of IFP, America's oldest and largest filmmaker's organization. Our office is relaxed and has been the starting point for many top industry professionals.

Primary responsibilities include: collect & organize meeting request forms, schedule meetings in Access database, liaise with participating industry about their meetings schedule, and assist with management of the meetings space, volunteers and participating industry during Independent Film Week.

You must be a self-starter, efficient, very detail oriented and flexible, with a professional demeanor and experience or serious interest in documentary. We're looking for someone to start early August through Sept 26, and work 20-40 hours a week; full time Sept 1-19. This is a volunteer position. College/volunteer credit can be negotiated, and other benefits are available.
