Call for Entries: 2nd Annual Masters of Animation Screenfest; Sept 1 deadline!
Each year, Lazy Limabean Film Magazine invites both new & veteran Animators to come screen new works during its annual Masters of Animation Screening Salon. This NYC-based event is designed to help celebrate the works of both celebrated animators as well as give up & coming animators a chance to show off their talents. This is non-competitive event now spans two evenings, October 8th & 9th and will also include motion graphics as a category.
Last year, film selections included brilliant works from industry veterans like John Dilworth, Patrick Smith, Nina Paley, Marc Lougee, Lev Polyakov, Lev, and Sean McBride!
Film Submission Guidelines:
-- All films MUST be submitted on DVD (NTSC) format.
-- Maximum length is 20mins.
-- All foreign language films MUST have subtitling.
-- Multiple submitted films must be on separate DVDs.
-- Accepted genre include anime, animation, stop motion, motion graphics (commercials & music videos with a majority of animated/motion graphic sequences are also acceptable for submission)
-- All film submissions must include: full contact information (phone, email, & mailing address), a director's bio (not longer than 150 words), press agent (if any), managerment (if any), website URL (if any).
-- All submissions must include a copy of your receipt.

EARLY SUBMISSION | Oct 22nd (postmarked)
$5 p/submission (Payable online only)
REGULAR SUBMISSION | Sept. 1st (postmarked)
$10 p/submission (Payable online only)

$1 from each Film Entry goes into the Lazy Limabean Emerging Filmmaker Fund, which will be awarded to one emerging filmmaker every year starting in August 2009.
