Sept. 19: Free Film and Philanthropy 101 workshop at the IFP; New York, N.Y.

Following a sold-out screening of their new, work-in-progress documentary Asexuality: The Making of a Movement at the Independent Film Week, Arts Engine's Angela Tucker and Beth Davenport will be moderating a free forum as part of the Independent Film Conference.

Film and Philanthropy panels will provide filmmakers, distributors, and industry professionals the opportunity to learn how to construct outreach strategies, work with partner organizations and employ practical marketing and publicity tools for social issue documentary. The discussions will focus on how this knowledge can be pragmatically deployed in the production, promotion and distribution of films.
