DCTV Hiring Young Filmmakers
DCTV is currently hiring 3 filmmakers under the age of 25 who will be responsible for creating videos and written reports about gun violence in several NYC communities for broadcast on our
website, www.beyondbullets.org, under the guidance of DCTV’s Executive Producers.
Candidates are required to have filmmaking experience and camera operating skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of the issue of gun violence and/or a familiarity with one or more of the following areas: Harlem, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brownsville, Crown Heights, Jamaica, Mott Haven and Stapleton, Staten Island.

- Submit resume and cover letter stating why this project is of interest to you, and why you are qualified for this position
- Submit reel or work samples (no longer than 5 minutes & labeled with your name, phone number and the role you played in creating the videos **online link preferred; if submitted in hard copy, samples will not be returned)
