Call for Entries: FreeNetWorld International Film Festival, May 31 Deadline

FreeNetWorld is an international film festival which aims to support and promote the creativity of film and authors from all over the world, primarily through the Internet that we think is the basic kind of communication in the future. Therefore, we have decided to become the part of the event E - Fortress, which goal is popularization of the Internet, art, entrepreneurship, open software…

FNW believes that the film speaks the universal language and therefore we do not want any prejudices or any thematic framework. Therefore we want to present a wider spectrum of films in competitive and non-competitive programs. The aim of this festival is to present the important and innovative films of high artistic value from the whole world.

We would like to invite filmmakers from around the world to submit films:

Fiction - drama and comedy, documentary, shorts, music video, animations and experimental.

To be eligible the films must be:
produced after the 1st of January 2007;
less than 30 minutes in length;
subtitled in the English language, unless the dialog is in English;

Theme: open theme

Entry Procedure: The entry form with all required information with copy of film have to be sent to us until 31th of May 2010. There are no limits for number of films that one person can submit.
Video preview formats: HDV, DV, mini DV, DVD…
The screening copy of the film that must be made available to the festival can be in the following formats, in PAL: HDV, DVCAM, miniDV, DVD;

Selection and Notification: As we expect to receive several hundred submissions we regret that we can only write to the selected filmmakers. If you have not heard from us by 15st of July 2010 please assume that you have not been successful this time.

Costs: The applicant is responsible for the costs of sending copy!
