Reframe: Bringing Together Vital Media Arts
In Fall 2007, Renew Media, in partnership with Amazon and with major support from the John D. Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, is launching an exciting new initiative called Reframe. Reframe’s mission is to digitize and bring together vital media arts, making them available via a destination website featuring a rich menu of search options and social networking tools.
The Reframe collection will include:
* documentaries
* independent features and shorts
* foreign films
* educational work
* video arts
* vanguard cinema.
Many of these will be available to the public for the first time. Our collection will be available through Amazon’s DVD on Demand and digital download services, allowing you to purchase or rent a title for either educational or personal use.
