Call For Entries: 2nd Stortford Film Festival

The 1st Stortford Film Festival took place on 22nd May 2010 at the Rhodes Arts Complex as a showcase of original short films by talented new filmmakers both from the Bishop’s Stortford area and from further afield.

Following the success of this first event the 2nd Stortford Film Festival is being planned for May 2011 and is set to be bigger, better and more exciting than the first. We’re looking for a wide range of quality films to be screened around Bishop’s Stortford.

Submissions can be any genre, any length, any language, any style and by filmmakers of any age. We want to screen films and stories which would otherwise not get the chance to be seen in Stortford.

As well as offering a great programme of films the 2nd Stortford Film Festival is also planning educational events for anyone wanting to learn more about fillmmaking or the film industry.

Also featured will be the 2nd Stortford Film Festival Awards. A festival jury will award prizes for the best films in a variety of categories.
