Call For Entries: Wasatch Student Film Festival

We are looking for 5 to 20 minutes shorts to be submitted by local high school and university students, as well as any local amateur filmmakers. To submit your film for consideration please mail a DVD copy of your film along with your name, phone number, and email address to the address given below by Tuesday March 15th. Before submitting your film please review the festival’s film submission guidelines:

The purpose of our festival is to provide student and amateur filmmakers with an opportunity to share their original work and express their unique opinions, beliefs, and ideologies. We are looking for films that are interesting in both content and format, films that tell a good story from a new perspective or point of view. While we expect most of the films to be done on a small budget, we do expect to see high quality work and effort to go in to the writing, directing, acting and editing of these films. All films using images or music that are copyrighted must have permission to use said images and or music. Any films that we do not believe tell an interesting, relevant, or emotionally meaningful story as well as any films that are crude or disrespectful towards others will not be shown in the festival. We will notify all those who submit films of whether or not their films have been selected as soon as possible, and we encourage those whose films are not selected this year to reapply next year!
