Call for Submission: The Taking Pictures Film Festival
Hurry to the post office!!! You still have a chance to get your film to the 2011 Talking Pictures Festival!
What we’re looking for…
We seek films that are thought-provoking, intriguing, entertaining, vibrant, authentic, artful and informative. From dramatic films to hard-hitting documentaries, comedic shorts, animation or experimental films, we invite independent filmmakers to send us their work for consideration. All genres, styles and lengths welcome! Cash awards for winning film entries.
Connecting with the audience…
True to its name, screenings at The Talking Pictures Festival foster a lively dialogue between filmmakers and audience members and get the community involved.
“What a wonderful experience the Talking Pictures Festival was! It totally lived up to its name… The shared experience of a film, and then being able to discuss it right away with a group is so important. This was really why I made the film – as a catalyst for discussion, challenging people to ask difficult questions.”
-Laura Israel, Director: WINDFALL
