Rooftop Films T-Shirt Design Contest, Deadline April 10

Design the official Rooftop Films t-shirt and win season passes, free dinner, and acclaim.

Here at Rooftop we are busy planning and preparing for our 13th year of bringing the best underground films and emerging bands to New York City (mark your calendars - opening night is May 15) and we are turning to you (our smart, innovative, creative fans) to submit ideas for our official Rooftop Films 2009 Summer Series t-shirts. We are looking for a design that exemplifies who we are and what we do and also, of course, something people will want to wear. Designs can be funny, serious, literal, abstract, hand drawn or computer designed…it’s up to you.

Entries will be judged by the Rooftop Staff and the winner will receive 2 season passes to the 2009 Summer Series, recognition as the Official Rooftop Films t-shirt designer and a $100 gift certificate to the Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant courtesy of Radeberger Pilsner.

About Rooftop Films:
Rooftop Films is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage and inspire diverse communities by showcasing ground breaking films and emerging bands on rooftops, in public parks, along waterways and other scenic spots all over New York City. We also produce new films, teach filmmaking to young people, and rent low-cost equipment to artists and non-profits. At Rooftop Films, we bring underground movies outdoors.

Guidelines:
* Designs must be one color
* Keep the design off the seams
* Entries can be sent in any format (JPG, GIF, PDF etc.), but should be lo-resolution. Note: if selected as winner, the final design should be delivered as a hi-resolution Illustrator file.
* The design must be your own original unpublished work and must not contain any third-party logos, trademarks or copyright material.

Contest Start Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2009
Deadline: Friday, April 10, 2009 (6pm ET)
